Yamana Gold 4Q Net, Revenue Rise Sharply >AUY

Toronto gold company Yamana Gold Inc.’s (AUY) fourth-quarter net income rose
sharply to $47.1 million, or 8 cents a share, from $6.14 million, or 2 cents a
share, in the prior-year period.
Revenue for the quarter rose to $218.6 million from $60 million last year.
Cash flow from operations was $145.8 million for the fourth quarter after changes
in non-cash working capital items.
Yamana Gold said it expects capital investments over the next three years to be
in the range of $1.3 billion, which will be funded by existing cash and operating
cash flow.
Shares of Yamana fell 21 cents to $16.70 in after-hours trading.
