WESTWOOD ONE/NCAA RADIO NETWORK PRESENTS COVERAGE OF THE 2008 MEN’S COLLEGE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP
New York, NY – June 23, 2008 – Westwood One/NCAA Radio Network (NYSE:WON) is proud to
present live coverage of the best-of-three 2008 Men’s College World Championship Series, live from
Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, NE Monday, June 23 thru Wednesday, June 25. Calling all the action
this year will be CWS veteran Kevin Kugler and longtime MLB announcer Jerry Trupiano. Kugler is
currently the lead play-by-play voice on Westwood One’s coverage of NCAA Football and NCAA
Basketball and this marks his fifth consecutive year behind the microphone for the CWS. Trupiano will
be making his second trip to Rosenblatt Stadium.
Westwood One’s live broadcast coverage of all three championship games of the best-of-three 2008
Men’s College World Championship Series begins at 6:45pm ET each day. Additionally, game
coverage can be heard on www.westwoodone.com.
A pair of bulldogs will tangle for college baseball’s top prize as The Georgia Bulldogs meet the Fresno
State Bulldogs on Monday, June 23rd for game one of the Championship. Georgia will be looking for
their second Men’s Baseball Championship title while Fresno State will be seeking its first.
