Westwood One’s all-star broadcast team for Super Bowl XLII features Marv Albert, Boomer Esiason, John
Dockery, Kevin Kiley, Jim Gray and Tommy Tighe. Super Bowl XLII airs live from the University of Phoenix
Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, February 3rd, 2008—5:00 PM ET. Pre-game coverage begins at 3:00
p.m. ET, followed by kickoff at approximately 6:25 p.m. ET.
Westwood One’s Monday Night NFL commentators Marv Albert and Boomer Esiason will provide complete playby-
play coverage with John Dockery and Kevin Kiley reporting from the sidelines. Jim Gray will host the pregame,
halftime and post-game shows as well as provide interviews and insight from athletes and celebrities in
attendance. A one-hour special entitled “Super Sunday,” hosted by Tommy Tighe precedes Westwood One’s
Super Bowl XLII coverage at 4:00 p.m. ET.
In addition, during the “Super Sunday” special, Jim Gray will host a rare 10-minute roundtable discussion
featuring three legendary Hall of Fame Head Coaches who have led their teams to perfect seasons in their
respective sports. John Wooden (four undefeated seasons while coaching UCLA Men’s Basketball), Joe
Paterno (five undefeated seasons while coaching Penn State Football), and Don Shula (coach of the 1972 Miami
Dolphins—the only NFL team to have ever gone undefeated to date) will talk about the New England Patriots
pursuit of perfection and the struggles, hard work and the eventual glory that comes with accomplishing the
greatest achievement in team sports.
