NEW YORK (MarketWatch) — A stronger dollar was putting pressure on oil prices
Thursday, and that was translated into solid gains for airline stocks. The Amex
Airline Index rose 1.2% to 23.73 points with nine of its 14 components trading
higher. Crude for June delivery dropped 41 cents to $113.05 a barrel in
