Strongly Recommended To Invest In E*TRADE
I think E-Trade will be ok long-term. No, you won’t lose any of the money in your account should they go bankrupt. I personally think someone will buy them.
Ok, in investment I always believe that common sense first, fundamentals second, charts? they are third but fun.
For common sense or lack of on the other side of our table, I’d refer you to short interests, 91+m of them on this bombed out, deep depressed but business turning around stock!
For fundamentals, anyone willing to do DD before shorting or buying stock should read the 84-page earning report and listen to the CC too. (As a side, does anyone know how many pages SCHW reports? 1 and 1/2! I wonder what’s to hide there. Anyhow, my summary was here http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/Stocks_%28A_to_Z%29/Stocks_E/threadview?m=tm&bn=24619&tid=1122027&mid=1122027&tof=3&frt=2)
NOW, let’s talk about fun.
+ Take a look at today’s chart and I call your attention to volumes, esp the first hour and last hour. What do you see? Heavy volumes in both hours. What else? Steep price comeback and steep rise or what technicians would call bullish closing ticks.

+ Now let’s span our attention to the five days when the market staged a turnaround. Guess who’s leading? Wrong question! ETFC longs would tell me. How right! That’s what leadership is about.

+ Year to date? We are UP 10% and #14 in all of the 500 stocks in SP500 …and climing fast in that ranking by the day. When will be the tipping point? IMHO, it’d be when it’s featured in TOP 10, that’s about 3% away. Why? That’s when momo hedgies start to stare at you. Shorts? Are you still here? any of you 93+m also listening? …ok, late now, let’s not complicate things by bringing out Kenny into the picture, shall we?
Good night and good luck all
