Recovery?

This nothing but a fiat money Ponzi scam. The government printed $Ts to bail out the banks, insurance companies, pork barrel social agendas, unions via the auto bailouts, etc. Companies goosed earnings by cutting costs, layoffs, shutting down plants. No real jobs or production.

It us like pumping hot air into a leaky balloon. Sooner or later they will run out of hot air and it will sink. Ben and Tim do not have an exit strategy… but anybody who is long, better have one.

There is not excuse not to have an exit strategy… use a series of trailing stops. Anyway, it just takes seconds to exit positions for anybody who can type fast enough in the computer.

Okay, let’s just look at the bright side of this depression - we still have 80-85% employment, gasoline is still below $4.00/gal, McDonald’s and other fast-food joints are thriving and hiring, the Emerald Valley in N. California had a bumper crop and trimmers are busier than ever, there’s more seat space than ever on airline flights, those who hold devalued dollars can buy a fairly nice home for 40-50% less than 18 months ago, churches are fuller, there’s water on the moon, the toilets on the ISS are working again, the stock market has been climbing on a wall of fear since March, 2009, the rich are getting richer, 60% of high school students in Orlando, FL actually stay in school long enough to graduate, we still have cable and satellite TV, the internet and the world wide web, the Swine flu vaccine will protect more than 38 people out of every 100 who get it, we get to witness the contention in Congress as our elected representatives duke it out over health care, the health insurance companies are still making money, we still have gold and silver available to buy, 2012 hasn’t arrived yet, beer is still affordable, LeBron James is still the Hoops King, New England won today, and there’s still good butterball Turkeys at the supermarkets. What more could you ask for?

I don’t know about you but it makes me smile knowing the sky is still blue and the air is still free to breathe. Let’s all give thanks!
