Presidential Election Will Lift Radio Companies In 2008.
Most large radio operators have seen their shares crumble by more than 25 percent. Among the hardest hit have been Westwood One Inc., which is off 67 percent; Citadel Broadcasting Corp., down 45 percent; and Cox Radio Inc., off 26 percent.
The signal continues to fade for investors in radio stocks, but they may want to stay tuned for next year, as a hotly contested presidential election and improved economy are expected to amplify ad revenues.
Radio firms will become a hot spot for investors and rally of Radio market probably start rally anytime soon. GL
