Overnight dollar LIBOR edges lower, while euro LIBOR climbs

LONDON (MarketWatch) — Overnight dollar LIBOR edged lower to 2.5626% from
2.6875%, while overnight euro LIBOR rose to 4.38% from 4.375% and sterling libor
rose to 5.08125% from 5%, according to data compiled by Dow Jones Newswires. The
spread between overnight LIBOR and the central bank base rate is used by some
observers as a measure of money-market tensions.
