What we lost about 30 to 40 years ago is a long term outlook on building a stable economy in favor of short-term quarter-oriented profit outlook which cannibalized the economy, and now we in the US and many other countries are paying a very dear price for this short-sighted and greedy stupidity.
Shareholders and managers wanted to eat the cow immediately rather than keeping the cow for milk. And now there’s no cow and no milk…
