How to Create a Video Blog with On2 FlixBy Frank Galligan, On2 VP of EngineeringWhat better why to kick off my video blog or vlog….than with a video tutorial on how I created my own video blog. I use Flash, which is a great platform to deliver your video posts, especially since they added On2’s VP6 video to Flash 8. More and more people are switching to flash to deliver video, just ask Google Video.

I’ve broken down the tutorial into 5 steps, all of which are covered in the Flash presentation below:

  1. Create a free blog account on www.blogger.com.
  2. Create an account on a hosting service such as PlayStream or use your existing hosting service. This is where your Flash videos will reside and be streamed from. (In this tutorial I’ve used blip.tv as an example.)
  3. Create your video post using Flix Pro.
  4. Upload your video to your hosting service.
  5. Publish a video post on your blog. Mine is at vanderhuge.blogspot.com
