On2 Technologies Delays 10K >ONT
“On2 Technologies, Inc. (Amex: ONT - News), a leader in video compression technologies, announced today that it has licensed Hantro(TM) embedded software video codecs to MediaTek Inc. , a global leader in fabless semiconductor for wireless communications and digital media solutions. The agreement, signed on Dec 27, 2007, will allow MediaTek to provide the On2 codecs along with its baseband chipsets to mobile handset manufacturers.”
“The preparation of the Company’s financial statements has been delayed principally due to a continuing review of European receivables. The Company’s analysis of this matter is ongoing. The Company’s management has determined that as a result of this analysis, the Company is unable to prepare and file the annual report in a timely manner without unreasonable effort or expense. The Company expects to file within the extension period.”
