Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) is still open to discussing an offer with Yahoo Inc.
(YHOO) despite its search-advertising pact with Google Inc. (GOOG), Reuters
reported Friday, citing a source. Microsoft lost interest in a full acquisition
of Yahoo because of fears the deal wouldn’t get regulatory clearance before the
end of the Bush administration, the source said.
