A Honeymoon and Retirement Are in the Futures of Big Spin Contestants
SACRAMENTO, Calif., Apr 12, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) — This week on the California
Lottery’s Big Spin show, four contestants won a total of $150,000. The show aired
statewide Saturday, April 12, 2008. The grand total won this week was $172,500!
Three Fantasy 5 contestants took their chance at the Dream Machine. Juan Garcia,
a longshoreman from Downey, was first up at the Dream Machine. Garcia, who walked
away with $60,000, plans to take his wife on a second honeymoon to Miami with his
prize. Next up was Richard Jackson, a bank employee from El Monte, who won
$40,000 and says he will save his prize for retirement. Lastly, Violet Craig, a
retiree from Santa Monica, took her turn at the Dream Machine and won $10,000,
which she doesn’t have plans for yet.
Robert Biggs was the contestant who outplayed nine other contestants in Aces High
this week. The resident of Dixon won $40,000, but doesn’t have plans for his
prize as of yet.
