Albert, Boomer Esiason, John Dockery, Kevin Kiley, Jim Gray and Tommy Tighe. Super Bowl XLII will be heard

Super Bowl XLII airs live from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, February 3rd,
2008—5:00 PM ET. Pre-game coverage begins at 3:00 p.m. ET, followed by kickoff at approximately 6:25 p.m.
ET. Westwood One’s Monday Night NFL commentators Marv Albert and Boomer Esiason will provide complete
play-by-play coverage with John Dockery and Kevin Kiley reporting from the sidelines. Jim Gray will host the pre
game and halftime shows as well as provide interviews and insight from athletes and celebrities in attendance.
Our special pre game coverage begins at 3:00 p.m. ET, with “Super Bowl Preview”, followed at 4:00 p.m. ET by
“Super Sunday”, a one-hour special that reflects on past Super Bowls and previews the upcoming game, both
hosted by Tommy Tighe.
In addition, during the “Super Sunday” special, Jim Gray will host a rare 10-minute roundtable discussion
featuring three legendary Hall of Fame Head Coaches who have led their teams to perfect seasons in their
respective sports. John Wooden (four undefeated seasons while coaching UCLA Men’s Basketball), Joe Paterno
(five undefeated seasons while coaching Penn State Football), and Don Shula (coach of the 1972 Miami Dolphins-
–the only NFL team to have ever gone undefeated to date) will talk about the New England Patriots pursuit of
perfection and the struggles, hard work and the eventual glory that comes with accomplishing the greatest
achievement in team sports.

The Westwood One 91-game 2007-2008 NFL broadcast schedule features the Hall of Fame game, the Opening
Night game, Monday, Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday Night games, Thanksgiving Day games, Sunday Afternoon
Doubleheaders, the NFL Playoffs, the AFC and NFC Championships, Super Bowl XLII from Arizona and the Pro
Bowl.

WESTWOOD ONE SUPER BOWL BROADCAST TEAM
Marv Albert, the voice of Monday Night Football on Westwood One, returns for his sixth Super Bowl broadcast as
play-by-play announcer. For over 20 years, Albert has served as primary play-by-play voice for the NBA on NBC
and TNT, along with play-by-play announcing for NFL football, college basketball, boxing, NHL All-Star games, and
has hosted studio and pre-game shows for Major League Baseball. Albert has won six Cable Ace Awards, three
New York Emmy awards and was named New York State Sportscaster of the Year an unprecedented 20 times. In
1997, he was awarded the Curt Gowdy Media Award by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, one of the
highest honors given to sports journalists.
Boomer Esiason provides color commentary for Westwood One’s critically acclaimed Monday Night Football
broadcast team and this marks his seventh Super Bowl broadcast for the network. Esiason co-host’s The NFL
Today for CBS Sports and also served as the Monday Night Football analyst for ABC Sports for two seasons prior to
joining Westwood One. One of the most prolific quarterbacks in NFL history, Esiason spent 14 years in the NFL
and quarterbacked the Cincinnati Bengals to Super Bowl XXIII. In 1988, Esiason was named NFL MVP by the Pro
Football Writers of America and the Associated Press. He also co-hosts NFL Preview with Tommy Tighe each week
on Westwood One.
John Dockery has served as the primary sideline reporter for the past eight years for Westwood One’s Monday
Night Football broadcasts, and this marks his ninth Super Bowl for the network. Dockery joined Westwood
One/CBS Radio Sports in 1980 as an NFL analyst, and served as a reporter for college football from 1986 to 1990.
Dockery also served as sideline reporter for NBC Sports’ Notre Dame Football broadcast for several years and
contributed to NBC’s coverage of the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Olympic Summer Games. Dockery is a former NFL
defensive back and was a member of the New York Jets Super Bowl III Championship team.
Kevin Kiley will be working his first Super Bowl for the network, after serving as a sideline reporter for Westwood
One since 2004, primarily on Sunday Night Football. Kiley has also served as a studio host of Westwood One’s
coverage of the 2004 and 2006 Olympic Games. Previously, Kiley hosted Fox Radio Sports’ national daily afternoon
talk show, Kiley and Booms, as well as local shows in both Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles. From 1992-1997,
Kiley also co-hosted TNT’s television coverage of the NFL, The Winter Olympics, The Goodwill Games, and the
NBA.
Jim Gray joined Westwood One in 2001 as host of the network’s Monday Night Football pre-game and halftime
shows and this marks his sixth Super Bowl fulfilling the same role for the network. Gray covers boxing for
Showtime, is a contributor to NBC’s Today Show, and is also a courtside reporter for the NBA on ESPN. Gray’s
credits include: six Olympic Games, Major League Baseball, two Ryder Cups, ten Super Bowls, seven World Series
and 14 NBA Finals. Gray has won eight Emmy Awards and last year received a star on the Hollywood Walk of
Fame.
Tommy Tighe marks his sixth Super Bowl with Westwood One/CBS Radio Sports. Tighe has been with Westwood
One in numerous capacities since 1988 including hosting pre-game and halftime coverage of the NFL, NCAA
football and NCAA basketball, and the Winter Olympics. He also currently co-hosts Westwood One’s weekly feature
programs, NFL Preview with Boomer Esiason and NFL Insider with Steve Tasker.
